Cello Faculty

Lakewood Suzuki Strings is looking for a highly qualified cello instructor who is passionate about the power of Suzuki Method teaching to build confidence, instill discipline, and incite joy in all children. An ideal applicant is someone for whom Suzuki philosophy is both a vocation and a lifestyle, extending into their teaching, other musical pursuits, and personal values. Applicants with teaching experience in the advanced cello repertoire, or applicants with cello performance experience, are especially encouraged to apply. This is a part-time position with ample opportunity for career growth.

Violin/Viola Faculty

Lakewood Suzuki Strings is looking for a highly qualified instructor who is passionate about the power of Suzuki Method teaching to build confidence, instill discipline, and incite joy in all children. An ideal applicant is someone for whom Suzuki philosophy is both a vocation and a lifestyle, extending into their teaching, other musical pursuits, and personal values. The position is open to violinists and violists; applicants with viola teaching experience in the advanced repertoire, or applicants with viola performance experience, are especially encouraged to apply. This is a part-time position with ample opportunity for career growth.
