Current Suzuki Students
Private Lessons continue weekly throughout the year.
The Suzuki Program (group class) resumes on September 6th!
All group classes occur on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15pm in the Lakewood High School's Performing Arts Wing.
Registration for Suzuki Program activities will be up on the Lakewood Recreation Department website by August 25th. Please check back here for the registration link at the end of August!
Announcement: Lakewood Recreation Department is now a service provider of ACE grant funding!
What does this mean for LSS families?
Ohio families can apply for a grant of up to $1000 for specific extracurricular activities, including our Suzuki Group Program with the Lakewood Recreation Department.
Application deadline: September 5th, 4:59pm
How to use your ACE grant for Suzuki Program activities:
1) Register and pay online with the Lakewood Recreation Department:
https://recreation.lakewoodcityschools.org/youth-activities
Once you've registered, you may submit your paid invoice to ACE for reimbursement.
OR
2) Register via phone or in person with the Lakewood Recreation Department. The Recreation Department will invoice ACE directly.

LSS students and other students perform a solo with a pianist and then perform with their group class. Dress rehearsal with the pianist is during your child's group class. Reception of fun and food will follow!

"My son has been learning the violin with Micaela for about 3 years now and is thriving. Micaela is a wonderful teacher. She is very talented, encouraging and supportive. I love that she is also very particular about homework and practice. My son loves her classes. She also provides many opportunities for performing through the Lakewood Suzuki Strings recitals.
