Students' Corner

Private lessons continue weekly throughout the year. 

The Suzuki Program (group class) runs February 7th-May 22nd!

All group classes occur on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15pm in the Lakewood High School's Performing Arts Wing.

Registration for Suzuki Program activities is on the Lakewood Recreation Department Website.

Parent Class 

Parent Class is a wonderful way to make connections with other Suzuki families enrolled in the LSS program! For each class be sure to bring your own copy of the book Beyond the Music Lesson: Habits of Successful Suzuki Families by Christine E. Goodner.

LSS students and other students perform a solo with a pianist. Dress rehearsal with the pianist is during your child's group class on April 17th.  Reception of fun and food will follow!

Musical instruments
"My son has been learning the violin with Micaela for about 3 years now and is thriving. Micaela is a wonderful teacher. She is very talented, encouraging and supportive. I love that she is also very particular about homework and practice. My son loves her classes. She also provides many opportunities for performing through the Lakewood Suzuki Strings recitals.
