Iuliia Fetysenko Leuck is a Ukrainian native with a passion for music. She started to play violin at age of 5 and has been in love with it ever since. During her school years in Ukraine she widely performed with different orchestras as a soloist across the country. She earned her Bachelor of Music in 2016 from  Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy in Kyiv and decided to continue her studies in the United States at the Cleveland Institute of Music. The decision to study at CIM was heavily influenced by the Cavani String Quartet when Iuliia took part at the Quartet intensive seminar program at Encore Chamber Music Summer Festival.

During her 1st year at Cleveland Institute of Music she became interested in Suzuki Method and under the mentorship of Kimberly Meier-Sims got her training in Suzuki Pedagogy from Pre-Twinkle to Book 10 and graduated with a double Major in 2019. During her school time at CIM she was working as a violin and viola teacher at Firelands School of Arts, Westlake Music Academy and

Violin Teacher in Cleveland Ohio. Iuliia Fetysenko, Violin

Aurora School of Music, as well as teaching privately using Suzuki and Traditional Methods. Iuliia also performed with Canton Symphony and Akron Symphony orchestras, as well as with Cleveland Philharmonic.

After graduation she moved to Petoskey, MI, where she developed a Suzuki program and taught in a variety of settings: in addition to teaching private lessons and group classes, she coached chamber ensembles and worked with the Youth Symphony Orchestra. She also taught orchestra classes in public and private schools across Northern Michigan. Her passion for teaching brought her all the way down to Houston, TX, where she worked at The Paganini School of Music as a Suzuki director and taught violin and viola to a variety of students (age 4-18). To be closer to her family, she decided to move back to Ohio where she continues sharing her love and dedication to music. Iuliia is a strong believer of persistency and consistency when it comes to learning to play the instrument, but she loves to make the daily routine of practice more enjoyable. She enjoys a challenge and likes to help her students set goals and achieve them. She loves to teach and enjoys finding the key to each individual student. As a Suzuki teacher she enjoys seeing every little success her student makes through the music experience because it starts the wonderful chain of future achievements and inevitably leads to a happier, more fulfilled life.
